Wildlife
An impressive whitetail buck, Odocoileus virginianus, grazing in the
tall grass of an open field. Ever vigilant, he raised his head periodically to
check on me and the progress of my slow approach. When the critter becomes
uncomfortable with the distance between us and starts to move away, I stop my
approach so I will not stress the animal needlessly.
